The gas boiler service involves more than just a quick clean and visual check.
The gas boiler service includes a complete safety check of boiler functions, boiler casing, flue inspection, combustion analysis to check the boiler is performing within the manufacturer guidelines.
Appliance ventilation requirements will also be inspected.
A gas soundness test to ensure the gas installation has no gas leaks is also carried out.
On completion, a printout for this test will be left with the customer along with an RGII Declaration of Conformance Certificate.
